Dendrobates auratus "Panamanian Green and Black" are green with a black background, and were originally harvested in Panama, as their name implies. They are one of the larger dart frogs, reaching approximately 1.5". Easy to keep, they feed on melanogaster fruit flies as juveniles, and hydei fruit flies, bean beetles, and/or pinhead crickets as adults. Springtails will be enjoyed by them at all phases of their live.




Froglets go through ontogenetic changes (colors and patterns evolve as they mature), deepening and expanding the black patterns. Background colors range from an iridescent turquoise to a metallic green. Choose your favorite!.
